a note from sarah

"Without a doubt a suit is my favourite piece of clothing. It's a great investment and gives you so many different outfits options. When I wear a suit I always feel confident and in charge! It's especially great for a Monday morning.

What I love about the Love Suit is the super chic green colour and the shape - the trousers have a high waist with a cropped boyish leg and the waistcoat is beautifully tailored. Waistcoats are going to be everyone this season and this is definitely one of my favourites."

The 'annie Hall' Look

'Annie Hall' is one of my ultimate style icons. My ingredients for creating the perfect AH look - 1 shirt, 1 waistcoat, loafers and big glasses. Voila!

This shirt is actually my husbands, which if you haven't got into the habit of stealing from your boyfriend/husband's side of the wardrobe then I highly recommend that you start. It's the best.

These penny loafers are the absolute dream from Penelope Chilvers. They might as well live on my feet, the amount that I have worn them. They are so comfortable and also great with socks.

My glasses are actually Celine sunnies which I made into glasses, I like big glasses and always find that sunglasses frames seem to work better for me in that respect.

The 'Daytime' look

A cashmere roll neck is the perfect layering piece and great for under a suit. I love wearing one full colour, especially when it's green. When you are just using one colour then you need to play with textures and proportions.

Here you have the the contrast between an elegant roll neck and chunky boots. These boots are a recent find from ME+EM. I searched the shops high and low and I confirm that they are very comfortable (nothing worse than spending weeks breaking in a pair of boots).

As you can see I really do love matchy matchy - the green sunnies are Jimmy Fairly and they add your prescription for free, which is the dream.

I got this bag recently from Staud and I used it day in and day out. It comes with a longer strap too so you can wear it cross body, and it's a fab size for being out and about.

This is one of my favourite looks as I feel really feminine but with that masculine strength. And of course the LOVE Suit goes perfectly with the orange camper van, which of course we knew was going to be on the streets!

The 'Night-time' look

I am not normally a mega heel kind of girl (I'm quite tall already) but this suit was calling out for them.

These black velvet numbers are Sandro, a present from my sister, which work perfectly with the deep green of the suit.

I love a waistcoat with nothing underneath super sexy but not in an obvious way.

I have added a black tux jacket and statement gold earring to ramp up the glamour. I know that I am going to have a good night in this outfit. Lots of spicy margaritas please!

The 'Casual' Look

The oversized white tee, another steal from my husband, gives a very 'off-duty' vibe.

I will pair trainers with pretty much any outfit and these New Balance trainers work perfectly with the green of the suit. It's like they were made for each other.

A baseball cap is not just for off-duty models! They add instant coolness to an outfit and are also great for those bad hair days.
