LAURA JACKSON
Presenter, chef and one half of Jackson & Levine – the supper club taking over London, Laura Jackson is a hard girl to pin down. Catching her one sunny morning over a cuppa, we chat about PJ's, food and a shared love of whippets as she picks her favourite pieces from the collection.
Where is home for you?
In east London, I have been in Haggerston for 5 years but I am just about to move house.
We hear you have a whippet, what’s he called?
My gorgeous whippet is called Barry and he is 4 years old. He is the loveliest little thing but he doesn’t listen to a word I say.
What do you cook for your love?
For my better half Jonathan, I love to cook Borlotti beans with burrata and a green sauce. He is a vegetarian and loves anything with cheese.
Kitchen essentials?
My purple kitchen spatula! My mum bought it for me and it’s not the prettiest of things but I would honestly be lost without it.
Favourite place in the world?
There is nothing better than having lunch in the Rochelle canteen by Arnold's Circus on a warm sunny day with a glass of something extremely cold wearing one of the canteens sun hats – heaven.
Describe your style?
Northern versus chic – it’s a daily battle.
Favourite piece in the collection?
The Lemon Vine Silk PJ’s.I plan to wear them to every occasion, bedroom based or not.
What do you sleep in?
I hate being cold so I always sleep in PJ’s and I love to wear an eye mask!
