THE WEDDING EDIT
BESPOKE PYJAMAS
"Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue"
With weddings postponed up and down the country, show the bride you are thinking of her and have her name embroidered onto a pair of the Celeste Classic Silk Pyjamas. Choose your flower or motif to be embroidered below it. We suggest choosing a flower with a special meaning behind it. See our 'Meaning of Flowers' edit below to help you choose.
Please note that bespoke embroidery is available on all pyjama sets. We recommend choosing a solid set to showcase the delicate embroidery detailing.
Embroidery for a pyjama set starts from £70.
THE MEANING OF FLOWERS
DAISY
Daisies symbolise innocence and purity. This stems from an old Celtic legend. In Norse mythology, the daisy is Freya's sacred flower. Freya is the goddess of love, beauty and fertility, as as such the daisy came to symbolise childbirth, motherhood and new beginnings.
FORGET-ME-NOT
Just as the name implies, forget-me-nots mean remembrance. It can mean the remembrance of good memories like when two people are together as a couple. It always signifies true love.
